Tomorrow evening is the opening of our Santa Claus Land of Lights here at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort.

The Santa Claus Land of Lights is a 1.2-mile family Christmas light adventure that tells the shining story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer.

As you know, we’re a little partial to Rudolph here. There’s a reason for that … did you know that Rudolph was born here in Santa Claus, Indiana? I bet you didn’t. We’re telling the rest of the story about Rudolph’s life and how he became the reindeer to led Santa’s sleigh on that foggy night. Here’s another fun fact … this is the only light show in North America that tells a story in lights and storyboards.

We’ve teamed up with McDonald’s and they are offering coupons at 45 different locations. You can find those coupons at McDonald’s in Evansville, Vincennes, Washington, Bicknell, Boonville, Jasper, Mt. Vernon, Newburgh, Petersburg, Princeton, and Tell City, Indiana; Henderson, Owensboro, Greenville, Central City, Beaver Dam, Madisonville, Morganfield and Providence, Kentucky; and Albion, Robinson, Carmi, Olney, Fairfield and Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

The coupons will save you $4 off admission and a portion of proceeds goes to the new Ronald McDonald House in Evansville and Santa’s Elves here in Santa Claus.
